Bongyoel Yang from Korea has designed the 'Boat sofa', a multi-functional furniture piece that is simple in both its form and concept.
Created for our 'global warming generation' the object can be used as a sofa and a boat. Ideal for flood prone areas, the furniture piece easily transforms - by removing the cushion,
a boat with oars is revealed below.

In 2010, the exhibition The Invisibles by Tokujin Yoshioka took place at the Kartell Flagship Store. This year, he has a new exhibition, The Invisibles Light, in which he has created a series of “invisible” chairs and tables from transparent acrylic that seems to become part of the air.
