Beautiful lighting design, with a natural look

Aurelia Eichhornia by Studio Jo Meesters

Aurelia Eichhornia by Studio Jo Meesters
At Salone, Studio Jo Meesters presented its new project entitled Aurelia Eichhornia, a series of lamps developed specifically for the presentation of Leolux during Salone where the Dutch furniture company exhibited its new collection.

The presentation was set up like Alice in Wonderland meets an underwater world with oversized water lilies and colorful floral carpets also created by Studio Jo Meesters. Inspired by water plants and jellyfish, the Aurelia Eichhornia lights feature a knitted textile surrounding a glass pendant. The pendants are created from found fermentation bottles that have been cut and polished, then covered with a luminous textile. The special textile creates a glowing effect when the lamps are lit.

Office design with a luxury look!

Ianus by UAU for Felicerossi

Ianus by UAU for Felicerossi
A new modular seating system designed by UAU for Felicerossi was launched at Salone this month. Ianus is named after the Latin god, and can be adjusted and rearranged into a variety of configurations, making it very versatile to commercial applications. A mix colors and materials makes each configuration completely unique to its owner.

Nature and design at its best...lean bench

Stretch Bench

The Stretch Bench by designer Tak Euy Sung is an exercise in molded birch plywood to the extreme. I regularly associate this style with the great Danish classics and of course Charles and Ray Eames but this design feels distinct. There are 17 layers of plywood carefully bent to create a continuous flow across the surface, only meeting at the corners to create a solid structure. So beautiful. 1850 x 310 x 500(h) / birch plywood. Designer: Tak Euy Sung
