Some times you wish it was always dark!

Fiber-optic Lighting Done Right

When I hear “fiber-optic light” I always cringe & think of those shabby, hair-like, rainbow lamps. Yuck. The Boogie Chandelier #2 is what I wish my first impression would have been. It uses off-the-shelf products like florescent tubes & puck lights in combination with fiber-optic cables to transform single strands of light into a sculptural, eye-catching pendant. The vibrant strands create sophisticated curves & shapes that will stand out as the centerpiece of any room, day or night (without the cheese-factor). Designer: Studio 1:1

Some times you stumble to some thing what moves you. This is it for me, that ow moment of totality taken.

This is the top of rugs design, a sparkling night on your floor

Raining Lights

Raining Lights
Raining Lights, a rug created by SAHRAI with Swarovski Elements, showed exclusively during the last Salone del Mobile in Milan.

Featuring 20,000 of the finest Swarovski Elements, Raining Lights is the first in a collection called the Capsule Collection by SAHRAI. Adding the texture and sparkle to the silk rug, the “rain” of elements is concentrated on one side of the rug and gradually thins out toward the opposite side.

Looks so stylish and good, like a flying carpet in the night. But I don't think it is landing on my floor any time soon.
