I was recently in The Crosby Street Hotel in NYC for a party and noticed a beautiful sculpture in the lobby — a giant head made of letters. After doing some online research, I’m pretty sure that it is by Spanish artist Jaume Plensa, whose body of work features the human figure or head usually in conjunction with letters and numbers.

Leaf Cut Art, tiny and fragile

Not only Fashion and Design have my interest but Art as well. And today I will show you some Art I found on when browsing on the internet. Small things like these cut Leafs by Lorenzo Durán and Sagaki Keita with his micro doodles drawings or the sculptures from Axel Brechensbauer or Yong Ho Ji 'mutant mythos' series, the al appeal to me on different levels. The fantasy from the artist or the vision if you like, is always a bit of a surprise to me. And I hope to you as well. Enjoy these articles and al in between!! 

Instead of using paper, artist Lorenzo Durán uses leaves to make papercut art. If you think about how delicate a leaf is, you can imagine how challenging and intricately painstaking each piece of art must be to create. He must have a very steady hand!
