Frida Giannini did not hide away from the winter palette, for Gucci this season, giving the dark colours in this collection not only dominated by black but also by forest green and purple. Giving it an noir atmosphere and hily elegant outing for this Autumn Winter 2012-2013 season. Gucci's catwalk was filed with neo Victorian elegance, a romantic woman with a dramatic sensuality. Models in black leather capes and dresses in exotic animal prints and dark feathers, sometime with a definite and graphic silhouette. "This is modern-day romanticism, a dark glamour. With subtle tones of provocative intellect," said designer Frida Giannini. On the catwalk triumph uniform dress coats and soft velvet skirts, pajamas sets and feather dresses in the darkest version but all so loveable.
